This place has the best kimchi! You can totally tell the food will be good when they serve you good kimchi.
I always order the galbi combo with the tofu soup. It is SO delicious! The meat is marinated so well, and the sizzling plate makes parts of the outside very succulent and sweet.
Their banchans are always on point, and don't forget the Korean pancake! It's always made to order and comes with a sweet soy dipping sauce. I always tend to overstuff myself when I come here. The food is just too good! -

Easily the best tofu house in LA/OC. I live near Koreatown and I'm constantly wishing that they would open up a location there. They would blow the competition out of the water!
The food is amazing. Starting with the banchan, they give you this vegetable pancake which is always super crispy and goes so well with the dipping sauce. The kimchi is also always good, usually on the unripe side which is just down to personal preference. They are very generous with the side dishes and you can ask for as many refills as you want! The real kicker here is the tofu soup. The portions are sufficient (I think larger than BCD) and the combos are well worth the money. I usually get a tofu soup + galbi combo or tofu soup + dolsot bibimpbap and share with my mom. I love their mushroom tofu soup. Tons of enoki mushrooms (my favorite)!
Service is great. The waitresses are constantly running around. Very hard working! Be sure to go around 5:30 or earlier or there will be a long line. -

I came here to days ago and they made me wait an hour for an order that I called in for. They lied to me multiple times about the wait time. Every time I asked them about the order they told me it would be ready in five minutes but I ended up waiting for an entire hour before receiving my order without an apology.
Honestly this place has pretty decent food but the service is terrible and almost over powers however good the food is. -

I've been here three times now and they've been consistently excellent every single time. Ever since my parents moved, this has been our go-to place for tofu soup.
I always get the beef and octopus tofu soup, medium spicy. I love that the beef that goes into the soup is marinated beef and not just unflavored beef that ends up tasting like the soup. Here, the beef is marinated and a bit sweet so it stands out from the spicy broth. They also give a very generous amount of octopus. The octopus gives a nice subtle seafood flavor to the broth while also being a nice texture contrast to the soft tofu. Medium spicy is perfect for me, although I have tasted their spicy and their extra spicy and both were super flavorful without being numb-the-tongue-out spicy.
As for the barbecue dishes, we always end up with the non-spicy chicken which has a really nice marinade/sauce on it. It pairs well with the banchan as well as the sliced onions that start to caramelize on the hot pan.
The rice here is a mixture of white and purple rice and comes in a stone pot. If you like the crispy rice on the edges, then don't stir the rice at all as you eat starting from the center. If you don't like the crispy rice, then stir the rice up once you get it.
The banchan here is awesome as well. My favorite is the seaweed dish. Each table also gets a little fried pancake.
All the employees here are really friendly. The food is delicious, consistent, and affordable. It's one of my favorite places to eat whenever I'm back in town. -

I ordered the seafood tofu. Tofu was okay but the service like most Korean restaurants I've been too was terrible. It was so terrible that I had to ask the dishwasher for some napkins.
